About Barktrend
In November 2020, I embarked on a new journey to start my own business in loving memory of my dear girl, Sassy, a spirited Chihuahua and English Terrier mix.
We adopted her through CCRT, a compassionate dog rescue organization in Canada. She became an irreplaceable part of our family, bringing joy and laughter to our lives.
Sassy’s playful spirit took her across the globe, even spending a year in Europe with us, making cherished memories as she ran in circles on our bed, her joyful antics filling our home with laughter.
Sassy was fiercely protective of our family, unafraid to make her presence known to anyone who entered our space, be it a fellow human or a passing dog.
Her favorite toy, a wind-up butterfly, would flit around our house, and her little eyes would light up with joy as she watched it fly.
To honor Sassy’s legacy, our mission is now guided by giving back. BarkTrend dedicates 10% of profits to support Buttonnoses, a local rescue organization led by Naseem, who has a long history with our family.
She provided love and care for Sassy during our winter travels, treating her like family. In her memory, we’re committed to supporting Buttonnoses’ mission to help dogs in need—be it those who’ve been abused, require adoption, or need specialized palliative care.
